EXPOSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION BY FOUNDER

During the Launch of Christian Children Evangelistic Ministry in Bawku, the founder of the organization gave an exposition on the theme for the occasion.

He read from; PSALM 100

1. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; We are His People, the Sheep of His pasture. 4. Enter His Gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise His name. 5. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

It is with great joy to stand before all of you this momentous day to delve intricately into what CCEM stands for, so that all gathered here can rally behind us as we start this endless journey of restoring sanity in our society and upholding morality.

Just yesterday, this was a dream, a dream which just seemed impossible to achieve, but we are experiencing its reality today and now. Glory to God Almighty.

For the past eight years, I have been involved in the children’s ministry within my church and have mentored and taught Children in Nalerigu, Zebilla, Sandema and Bawku. Some of these children I started with are now in Tertiary institutions, and there is no Joy as compared to when they meet you anywhere and shout out to you Sir! Sir!!, even still in my smallish nature. They sometimes recall how you imparted their lives and remain grateful. This is partly a propelling force for the establishment of the organization.

For the past four years, through a non-denominational organization called Children In Christ, I have been able to minister to children outside my church and organized training for children’s service teachers in Bawku and Garu.

All this time spent so far in the ministry brought to my notice how the children’s ministry, the crucial aspect of the church has been so neglected, and we are oblivious of the looming danger that awaits posterity because of our actions today.

CCEM therefore is a body that is rising very strongly to ensure that, child evangelism is revamped in our society so as to have a responsible society for the future.

Most of the problems we face today as a country is as a result of a corrupt society which is ever compromising with the welfare of its inhabitants. If indeed, Christians are the majority in this country, then obviously we should see some sanity in all our institutions but rather unfortunately, we don’t see that. CCEM seeks to raise children who are well rooted in the faith and would never compromise in all endeavors.

CCEM would be satisfied if a single soul is touched and transformed, because that soul maybe the president, MP, CEO or head of any institution in the few years to come, and he/she will effect great change. But we believe we will not only touch a soul, but will touch the lives of many children across the country and beyond.
